On May 5th Grappling-X returned to Lincoln High School in San Diego for an amazing day of Gi competition. Athletes of all ages, belt levels and even what some would call “disabilities” got on the mats and fought for pride, honor and the spirit of Jiu-jitsu.
In the kids and teens divisions Outliers/Ribeiro Jiu-jitsu took the top team award with Paul Silva Jiu-jitsu/Carlson Gracie and Romona BJJ taking second and third respectively. In the adult divisions, Ramona BJJ won first place with New Breed Academy (BJJ Revolution) taking second and Atos Jiu-jitsu taking the third place spot.
We would like to announce that Outliers/Ribeiro Jiu-jitsu is the Grappling-X new Grand Champion team! With all the carpetbagger promotions attempting to lay claim to the great city of San Diego, Grappling-X would like to thank all of our loyal competitors and fans. You are family to us!
