Note: Due to the Limited amount of qualified Competitors we will be opening up the registration to All No-Gi Advanced & Gi Purple, Brown and Black Belts. We want to insure that the 8 Man brackets will be full.

ANTI-SANDBAGGING RULES:
No-Gi: If you have trained in Wrestling, Submission Grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sambo or Judo for more than 1 year you CAN NOT Compete in the Novice Division.
If you have received a Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo or Sambo you CAN NOT Compete in theNovice Division
What is the tournament of Champions?
The Tournament of Champions is a Red Carpet event that will end of the 2011 Season. It will feature the elite competitors that have won their weight division during the 2011 Season. With this being an invitational event this is a true National Championships, with the best competitors competing to be number 1. Unlike other events with an open registration that claim at to be a “Championship Event” but have not done any qualifying events leading up to the main event. This event is very special to win because not just any one can just register for the event you have to have won during 2011 and we are putting Champions against Champions so it only makes sense to call the event The Tournament of Champions.
What are the differences between the T.O.C event and a regular Grappling X Event?
The T.O.C. is an invitational event that is open to past winners. This event is run with the highest amount of quality from every aspect and the competitors and selectors will really get their money’s worth.
What is the Walk of the Champions?
All of the competitors that competed for Places 1-4 will be a part of the walk. The walk is a parade type setting where the competitors will all be lined up by weights and division and as they are circling they gym we will be Spotlighting each one of the competitors and their School.
How are the competitors ranked for the event?
On the Night before the event there will be a Seeding meeting where the coaches will all met together and discusses the place of their guy. The Competitors will be rank by their accomplishments/record during the 2011 Year. What type of Prizes will be award at this event?
Competitors that place 1-3 will receive 4 Inch Medals. Each division winner will receive a nice copy of their bracket.
What do competitors have to do to qualify for the event?
This is a true tournament of champions because it is a invitational event were the division wins from the 2011 season are invited to compete in the event. After November 25th we will be opening up the registration to all competitors that have placed in an event during the 2011 Season.

How Many Weight classes will there be and how competitors per weight.
There are 10 weight classes and there will be 8 Competitors per each weight class in each Division.
How Many Divisions Will there be for Adult No-Gi and Gi
There are 4 Divisions for Adult Men No-Gi; Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. There are 5 divisions for Gi: White, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Black.

What do I get for my Money?
Every Competitor will receive an Event shirt. This is an elite event were the best competitors will get the opportunity show case there skills and be honored for their accomplishments. After the event we will have an article in a MMA magazine with a write up spotlighting all of the winners.
We will be putting a lot of money into the productions of this event, to really raise the bar.
