| GX Competitor, Liz Carmouche, Prepares For UFC |

Three time Grappling-X medalist and friend, Liz Carmouche, will fight fellow GX competitor, Ronda Rousey, for the UFC 135 pound female title on Saturday February 23rd. Carmouche, the former marine, submitted Kaitlin Young by rear naked choke in her last outing on July 28th of 2012. Training at San Diego Combat Academy and under the tutelage of Team Hurricane Awesome, Carmouche has been a friend and a role model to many in the San Diego MMA and submission grappling scene.
