On January 8th, Grappling-X hosted the Golden State Central Valley Gi Championships in the great city of Fresno California. Like always the Central Valley brought both talent and excitement to the mats. Team Elite/Cleber, Synergy and Modesto Power took the top team awards respectively. BJMuta, AKA Fresno and Red Lion/Cleber also represented admirably. Everyone at Grappling-X would like to thank the staff of Clovis West High School. Grappling-X will return to the Central Valley for the GSCV No-gi Championships in the summer of 2012.

On Sunday December 4th Grappling-X returned to the mile high city for some great submission grappling action. Colorado BJJ, Zingano BJJ and Team Rhino took the top team spots. Ground Zero and Origin Martial Arts also represented well. We would like to thank everyone who came out and competed and all the friends and family members who sat in the audience. We would also like to thank the staff of Adams High School. |
On Sunday November 27th Grappling-X returned to Sacramento for a day of great gi action. Team Gracie Fighter, Team Dumdumaya and Travis AFB Jiu-jitsu won the top team awards respectively. We would like to thank the staff of Elk Grove High School, and we will see you in 2012 for our Championship series. |

In what was the unofficial kick off to the Grappling-X Championship era, The Kids Tournament Of Champions not only showcased some of the best kids grappling talent in the nation, but it also offered a glimpse of what is to come in 2012. On Saturday November 19th some of the most talented kids and teens on the grappling scene came to Long Beach Polytechnic High School and put on some of the best displays of grappling seen in 2011 at any tournament.

On Saturday November 12th Grappling-X returned to Las Vegas Nevada for what was one of the most exciting No-gi tournaments this year. The competition was top notch which is a testament to the amount of great grappling instruction that can be found in the Battle Born state! Fight Capital MMA, Tapout LA and Cascao /jiu-jitsu took the top team spots respectively. Throwdown Las Vegas and Drysdale Jiu-jitsu also represented well. Grappling-X would like to thank all of the staff of Las Vegas High School. We hope to see you all in 2012 for our Silver State Championship series. |
