Pankration is back under the Grappling-X umbrella.  On Saturday May 12th Operation Grapple will host this year’s first Pankration tournament.  The event will be held at the Fight Lab in Murrieta CA.  Due to the absence of Pankration for nearly two years, we here at GX thought I was a good time to catch everyone up on the rules.

Pankration Is Back!!!

After a nearly two year absence, Pankration is back in California and back on the Grappling-X menu.  Many of our competitors have been longing for the return of the pre-amateur MMA sport of Pankration.  Prior to the temporary ban on the sport, Grappling-X was the state leader in successful Pankration events.  Grappling-X is the only organization to have a fully paid staff of martial arts experts to refereree and score keep every match.  This and our long track record of successful events, in both Pankration and MMA, ensures the safety and legitimacy of every bout.  So dust off you MMA gloves and begin practicing your kicks because Grappling-X is back in the Pankration business!
